The Powder
Keg
Host
Carmel
Rogue radio asset, Darboy, WI. studios

The Powder Keg ignites each week from our Darboy, Wisconsin studios, where Carmel operates the console like a rogue radio asset the agency lost track of. His sixty minutes of mayhem are scorched-earth assaults — blistering riffs, alien time signatures, and an erratic pulse that hints at imminent societal collapse.
Nothing about the show feels contained; it seeps into the cracks, fouls the circuitry, and leaves the place humming like a '75 Gran Torino. Listeners aren't tuning in to be comforted — they're doing it for the kinetic kick; for the sense that Carmel isn't simply pushing limits, he's staging a sonic coup.
If it's volatile, it's The Powder Keg, Wednesdays @ 1 PM Eastern.
Symptoms
The Aftermath.
Tinnitus
A persistent high-frequency ring that follows you out of the car and into the shower. You will check your ears. There will be nothing there. The Keg just visits.
Third Degree Burns
Caused by proximity to speakers, amps, and the general vicinity of anyone nodding along. Treat with cold water and another track. Do not file a claim.
Disfigurement
Permanent reshaping of your taste in music. Ordinary classic rock playlists will sound flat for the rest of the year. Deep cuts only. No exceptions. We are sorry and we are not.
Chemical Pneumonitis
A caustic residue left in the lungs after prolonged exposure to overdriven guitars and bass that sits somewhere south of the belt for the full sixty minutes of the show. Bring a respirator. We will not be providing one.
